PORT & CRANBERRY

BRUSCHETTA 

Makes 12 canapés as an appetizer for 6 people

 

INGREDIENTS


1                        Baguette cut into 12 pieces     

212 ml           NUTRA-FRUIT Cranberry Onion Confit                                 

                           (About 1 tbsp. per canapé)

300 g               Blue cheese (about 1 tbsp. per canapé) 

1 cup               Whole pecans (2 per canapé)

1 tsp.               NUTRA-FRUIT Cranberry Maple Port

For a vegan version: replace the blue cheese with blue-style fauxmage.  

INSTRUCTIONS

Cut the baguette into 12 equal pieces. Place 1 tbsp. of NUTRA-FRUIT Cranberry Onion Confit onto each slice. Add a piece of blue cheese and 2 whole pecans, then bake at 350F for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and add some NUTRA-FRUIT maple port cranberries onto each bruschetta. 

 

TO SERVE

Serve straight from the oven.
